Daisy is a 13(?) year old female huntaway who came to us from the Pound. We don’t know much about this old girl’s life, but she has improved so much in the care of her wonderful foster mum and the 3 other RWDs who live with her.
Daisy is a “lifer”, she has kidney and liver issues due to her age and so we have decided she will stay with her foster mum until she is ready for the big dog park in the sky. This is not without its costs, as Daisy needs a special diet to support her, and has on-going skin issues which requires medication.
But there’s still heaps of life left in this old girl and she is loving her retirement where she gets spoiled rotten and sleeps inside.
