This gorgeous boy is looking for the most special of homes. Ace’s career as a working dog ended before it had even begun, when he broke his leg really badly in an accident. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe to save it. Missing a leg has not slowed this boy down at all, and he gets around with his buddies in foster just fine.

Ace is an almost 6 month old heading dog. He has been castrated, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s passed his puppy pre-school exam with flying colours (even though he is differently-abled).

We are looking for a home that has another active dog for company, as Ace loves his playmates-in particular, Spur, who is also a tripod. Ace’s other great loves are toys, people, adventures, and annoying the resident ducks.

He’s fine around cats, has been introduced to horses and a large, bossy cow named Maddie. Being a teenager, sometimes he is really well behaved around the chickens and ducks, and other times his ears are decorative, and he gets a kick out of making them run (not in a nasty way, just in a cheeky puppy way).

We know this boy will steal lots of hearts, but please be aware that it won’t be a case of first in first served. The ideal home for Ace will have another dog, owners who have had experience in training young, clever and high energy breeds, and who are prepared for him to develop arthritis a bit earlier due to his missing hind leg.

Whoever welcomes this beautiful boy into their family will be rewarded with endless love and lots of good natured cheekiness.
