Ace is a lovely chap – he’s a border collie x heading dog, about 2 yo. His carers think he’s pretty special and have penned a poem for him:

 

This lovely boy is now available for adoption,

he’s an unclaimed stray, so rehoming is now an option,

he did have a new home, all lined up,

they’ve pulled out 🙁, so more pound time for this poor pup,

he’s seems to be a working dog type,

but he’s not full on, not full of hype…

he loves to be with children and other dogs are ok,

he’d love a new family with whom to play,

so, if you’d like to adopt this laid-back lad,

it’ll be the best decision you’ve ever had!!
