Bess is an 11 year old female Huntaway who is looking to semi-retire to a lifestyle block or maybe a small dairy farm.

Bess is very loyal to her person so may take a little while to bond to a new owner, she has always been more of a man’s dog and is quite serious natured. She is fine with children and other animals, just indifferent, as she only has eyes for the boss. In good health, mild arthritis starting now but otherwise has always been sound. Keeps good condition on and is very clean in her kennel so should be easy to house train if needed. Bess would not like to live in town as she has always been a country girl, and she would still like to have a purpose and keep active.

Her owners only want the best of homes for her, she has been a great companion and workmate, but circumstances have changed, and she needs to find another boss to be faithful to.

Bess has recently had a booster vaccination, and is up to date with worm and flea treatments. We will require a property inspection and vet reference from potential adopters.
