About Bruce:

Bruce is a large, male huntaway, aged 8 years old.

Bruce was my first ever farm dog, given to me by a friend as he is an extremely clever, obedient and special hunt away.
I have used him for the last 2 years and he has taught me so much but I now have younger dogs who are capable of doing all my stock work so Bruce is surplus to requirement. He is also a very large dog so unfortunately suffers from arthritis in his front shoulders. The work on the steep hills is too much for him. He is fully broken in and would love the odd bit of stock work but equally love a home with company.

Is Bruce used to children? Yes.
Is Bruce used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Bruce toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Bruce used to stock? Yes.
Is Bruce used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Bruce get on with other dogs? Great.
Bruce lives in Taihape, North Island.
A bit about Bruce’s personality:

Bruce is very well mannered, obedient and loves pats. He is very young at heart and has plenty of energy for his age, he is just restricted by his arthritis.
He is a very clever stock dog and loves going to work or being with people.
He is great with all people and children and loves attention.
