***RWD Foster Dog***

Chuck is a lovely young smoocher who is looking for a family of his own. Chuck came into RWD care when he suffered a workplace injury and badly damaged most of his toes on one of his hind legs. We have recently had to have this leg removed. Chuck is doing very well on 3 legs, but his hill country working career is over.

Chuck is about 16 months old, he’s a heading dog and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated up to date. He loves kids, is great with other dogs. Not overly concerned with chickens. He will eye cats and have a run around the lambs and calves if he gets a chance, but comes back nicely when he is called.

Chuck would love to find a home where he has another dog to play with, gets lots of cuddles and attention, and gets enough exercise without having to run marathons. Although he is doing well on 3 legs, like most dogs who lose a leg he will most likely end up with arthritis later on in his remaining legs.

If you have a Chuck sized hole in your life, lots of love to give, and like to do fun, dog related things as a family, please email Natalie at retired.workingdogs@gmail.com

Chuck has an adoption fee of $250.
