About Faye:

Faye is a small, female Heading Dog, aged 10 years old.

Hi, I’m Faye. I’m a 10-year-old heading dog, living on a station in Lumsden.

A hill country farm dog, I’ve worked hard all my life.

You know what’s EXTRA special about me?

If we’re friends and you ask me to, I’ll jump up into your arms!

Yeah, I’m a pretty lovable girl.

Great with kids too!

You see, I live with four young girls on my farm.

They’ve grown up with me and I love them dearly.

Now that my age is into the double digits, my farmer thinks it’s time I embrace my golden years.

He’s hoping to find me the BEST of rural homes, with kind and caring people.

He says I’m such a sweet and loving wee girl, with so much to give.

I don’t ask for much in life. I’m quiet and easy to have around.

A sunny spot in the yard, a good feed and I’m pretty set!

Oh, and I do love a good swim in a trough, on a hot day.

I don’t have any signs of arthritis, which is great. I’m pain-free and in good health.

My farmer thinks I’d be happy living as an only dog, or sharing my home with a male would be fine too!

I’m a little dog-selective with other ladies, so it’s best we meet first, before considering sharing a home together.

My farmer says I’ll be fine living with cats. I’m used to them. Chickens too!

Oh, and he wanted me to let you know that I’m not spayed.

So, if you’re looking for a sweet, kind and loving girl – whose great round children – maybe I can spend my golden years with you?
