About Freya:
Freya is a large, female Huntaway, aged 7 years old.
Description:Freya is in rural Waiuku, just outside Pukekohe.
Freya is awesome!!
She is a purebred Huntaway with a big bark.
She has never been a working dog and we are unsure how she’d go with livestock.
We have had Freya since she was a puppy and feel she would be suited to a family with older dog savvy kids.
She herds our chickens (through a fence) and is tolerant of our cat but will chase if she runs.
Freya would need to be an only dog.
Freya is a lover and one of her favourite things to do is cuddle you – she is very good at picking up on your mood and she knows when you need her.
We are moving overseas and into an environment not suited to a dog who has had free rein to run and be a dog and it isn’t fair to put her into long term boarding.
Is Freya used to children? Yes.Is Freya used to cats? No.
Is Freya toilet-trained? Yes.
