About Hunter:
Hunter is a large, male Huntaway, aged 3 years old.
Description:Hunter is a 2 or 3 year old Huntaway male found wandering and thin in the country a year ago. Brought home by my teen but we really can’t keep him in the city.
He is healthy and happy now, has built his confidence and found his bark. He can jump a 6 foot fence no trouble at all and is very smart. Lovely nature, good with other animals, loves to run and play. Now neutered and vaccinated. Goes on pack runs and beach walks and is excellent with other dogs. Good with humans, now toilet trained and sleeps inside with my son!! Should be outside! Possibly could still be trained as a farm dog as still young and very fit. About 38 kg.
Is Hunter used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Hunter toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Hunter used to stock? Yes.
Is Hunter used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Hunter get on with other dogs? Great.
Hunter lives in Auckland, North Island.
A bit about Hunter’s personality:
Confident and friendly – very fit and loves walks, playing and jumping.
Obsessed with orange and blue balls. Will play in shallow water but doesn’t swim in deep.
Frightened of thunder and fireworks and will find a safe place to curl up and hide (closet or under furniture).
