Jack is a large, male heading-dog-huntaway-mixed, aged 9 years old.Description:
Jack is a lovely older heading dog who has been great company for the last 9 years. He’s coming off a sheep and beef farm, but the farm’s been sold- so we’re hoping to find him a loving home for his retirement. He is still actively working on the farm, although often gets a ride on the back of the bike instead of running the whole way out. He is used to living in the kennels and hasn’t really been inside. He’s good with stock but can’t be described as perfectly trained (he is pretty good though), he always tries to please. He’s got a lovely temperament and has always been good with grandkids and other dogs visiting the farm.
Ideally we’d like to find him a loving home with some space to run around. He’s probably got a few more years of light working still in him, and would be ideal for a lifestyle block or someone with small stock numbers.Heading dog, huntaway mixed
