Kaea is a large, male Huntaway X, aged 3 years old.Description:
Kaea is a beautiful dog with a absolutely loving a kind nature. She came to us when she was 1.5 years old so I was told but I can’t be to sure. I’m told she was spayed and microchipped, she lived in town and needed a farm and space to run around. She started out great and helped with stock, but just has a really bad recall which I’m sure someone could possibly teach her. Since moving to a smaller farm where they don’t allow working dogs she has become quite bored. The past month or so we have been told she has been bothering the neighbours stock, just barking at them which is rather annoying and probably down to being bored. She is amazing with kids she has no aggression at all. She is an amazing dog and I feel horrible to rehome her but unfortunately we are not able to have her here due to this issue and I don’t want her just to be locked up 24/7. She’s a picky eater and I’ve tried to make her gain weight but she just won’t no matter how much I feed her . I feel horrible writing this but think it is the right thing for her. She sleeps outside and barks to let you know someone is coming up the drive. Is Kaea used to children? Yes.
