About Mack:

Mack is a medium-sized, male Huntaway, aged 5 years old. He is in the middle at the back of the group photo.

Mack is a hunterway that I have had for 5 years, he is by far my best hunterway I have had and is so switched on. Unfortunately he lost sight when he was 10months in one eye and then the second eye when he was 5 years old. He had surgery to try and correct this with no success, I have kept him in work and he has been great but is now surplus to requirements. He has such a great nature and is a loving and eager to please dog. I still take him to work with me and he is fantastic in the yards, has a great bark and ability. He is so affectionate and will pester you for a pat and follow you everywhere. Even though he is blind he is still extremely happy and gets around well. I would love to see him in a loving approved home where he can get all the pats he deserves and still potentially get to bark up when needed. He is a bit of liability taking him over the farm now and get lost easily when its windy. He will need a fenced yard as I am a bit nervous that he may venture on the road when first going some where new but when he is around the section he will never ever wander. He is a great dog and a reluctant adoption, he will always have a home with me
