About Maggie:

Maggie is a medium-sized, female Huntaway, aged 2 years old.

Description:

Urgent rehome!! I am relocating to Australia early next year and need to find the perfect rural home for my much-loved huntaway.

Maggie is an extremely loving and loyal dog who is full of energy!! She would suit an active home and would like nothing more than to spend her time with her person/people (although is okay to spend time alone in a secure backyard). She knows basic commands (sit, down, shake) but her recall is 50:50. She loves to explore, run and say hi to EVERYONE. Unfortunately, as with any Huntaway, she loves the sound of her own voice so only rural/lifestyle homes would be considered.

Is Maggie used to children? Yes.
Is Maggie used to cats? Yes.
Is Maggie toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Maggie used to stock? Don’t know.
Is Maggie used to chickens? No.
How well does Maggie get on with other dogs? Great.
Maggie lives in Sanson, .
A bit about Maggie’s personality:

Maggie is the most loving dog I have ever met. All she wants is to make her person happy and she LOVES a cuddle.
She has grown up with another big dog her entire life so she would love another dog buddy to spend her time with. She can be a little bit anxious in certain situations but will seek comfort & reassurance from her person (this has been getting better as she gets older).
She is desexed, has had “JPS” surgery to prevent the development of hip dysplasia, and has also had a tail amputation due wound she got when she was younger.
Maggie is used to the “finer” things in life and loves to relax on the couch/sleep on the end of the bed.
Maggie is a fantastic dog and will make somebody very happy.
