Pug is a large, male huntaway, aged 6 years old.
6 y/o large huntaway. (50kgs) Intact male. Pug is a big softy. Has a good bark and is capable to help out on a small block for a bit of noise if needed. But can see him enjoying cruising around and being a good companion for some one who can give him the love and attention he needs. Vet checked at totally vets fielding 6/7/19. All good apart from arthritis in back left leg. Not deemed a major concern by vet if going to a less strenuous lifestyle. I already have 1 dog retired and don’t have the room for another which is why I’m trying this.Is Pug used to children? Yes.
Is Pug used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Pug toilet-trained? Don’t know.
Is Pug used to stock? Yes.
Is Pug used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Pug get on with other dogs? Great.
Pug lives in Fielding, North Island.
A bit about Pug’s personality:
Pug is a big softy. Will need lots of patience to gain trust of new owner but once that trust is gained he is an obedient and loyal dog. Doesn’t like being growled. Responds well to positive reinforcement. Loves food. Good come back and sit down commands. Gets along with other dogs fine. He’s quite timid so stays out of trouble and won’t be trying to be an alpha male etc. Good with chickens and pigs. Unknown with cats. Doesn’t like working in close confines like sheep yards and doesn’t like pressure.
