About Rooksy:

Rooksy is a medium-sized, male Heading Dog, aged 9 years old.

Rooksy is a lovely, older, Heading dog that needs to retire to a lifestyle block or loving home. His joints don’t cope with big days on the farm anymore but are fine if he’s mooching around at home or light exercise. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Is Rooksy used to children? Yes.

Is Rooksy toilet-trained? No.

How well does Rooksy get on with other dogs? Ignores them.
Rooksy lives in Waipukurau, North Island.
A bit about Rooksy’s personality:

Rooksy is a scrumptious, affectionate gentleman with a slightly unhealthy obsession with rugby balls! He’s still very speedy when running with the quad bike but is equally happy to wander around and have lots and lots of pats. Excellent with children, including one of ours that can be a bit nervous around dogs. Not bothered about other dogs, happy and settled in an outside kennel, not toilet trained. We have chickens on the other side of a fence which he has shown no interest in, he has not met a cat. Rooksy will only go to the right home as he’s very much a favourite here but we are limited on kennel space for our working dogs.
