Meet Gwen, a loving and loyal 10-year-old Huntaway seeking a forever home filled with comfort, care, and companionship. This gentle soul has so much love to give, despite her physical limitations due to arthritis and elbow dysplasia. She is a very easy dog to have around. Gwen is friendly with animals, kennel-trained, and knows basic commands. She thrives on attention and affection, and is grateful for every moment spent with her people.
Gwen requires a gentle and patient owner who can provide a quiet living space, separate feeding area (can be a little food aggressive), and regular low-impact exercise. Her arthritis needs ongoing management with Panadol and Meloxicam, but this doesn’t slow her down. In fact, Gwen is eager to please and loves to learn. Please take into consideration the cost of ongoing medications for Gwen. If interested we can get an estimate of costs.
In return for your care and patience, Gwen offers unwavering devotion and companionship. She has a grateful heart and will enrich your life with her sweet presence. Give Gwen the comfortable and loving home she deserves, and experience the joy of sharing your life with a loving and loyal companion. Adopt Gwen today!
We think Gwen has been desexed (she has not come on heat for the months she has been in care – if she does come on heat we will cover desexing costs), vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped. As with all our foster dogs there will be a $350 adoption fee and a property check and vet reference will take place.
