Rain needs us! He’d really like to get out of the pound. Foster or forever home needed.
Rain, a 6-7 month old Huntaway cross Heading Dog pup, is in need of a forever or foster home to get out of the pound. This playful and adorable youngster deserves a loving family to provide him with the care and attention he craves.
Rain’s parents were working dogs, and he’s inherited their loyal and playful nature. He loves toys (will often pick a toy from the pound office toy box), playing with other dogs, and will love going on adventures. With his massive feet and big head, Rain is still growing into his body, but his personality is already larger than life. He really is a delightful goober!
Rain would thrive in a home with a big backyard where he can run around, a dog buddy to play with, and owners who can provide plenty of love, attention, and training. He’s good with chickens and other dogs, but will need safe introductions to cats and stock. As he’s young he should click on fast.
He has a good bark and will use it from time to time in his run at the pound as he is getting a bit fed up with being there, but he is not a nuisance barker.
Rain has been vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is currently registered.
He has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
He’ll need to be desexed after 10 months old, and his new owners will be refunded $200 with proof of desex.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Rain, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
