About Scotty:

Scotty is a medium-sized, male Huntaway, aged 15 years old.

Scotty is a well loved member of a large dog team.

He has been mostly retired for approximately the last 2 years. Recently he lost his long time work mate and retired kennel buddy. We don’t want him to be lonely while the rest of the team is out working so we would like him to go somewhere where he will have company and receive lots of scratches and cuddles.

Is Scotty used to children? Yes.
Is Scotty used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Scotty toilet-trained? Don’t know.
Is Scotty used to stock? Yes.
Is Scotty used to chickens? No.
How well does Scotty get on with other dogs? OK.
Scotty lives in Dannevirke, North Island.
A bit about Scotty’s personality:

He’s a generally happy, friendly and easy going dog with no health issues although his hearing isn’t what it used to be.
He’s always been a hard worker, and still tries to work stock although he’s now slowed down significantly and runs out of steam quickly.
He can be a bit stubborn at times.

He has always lived in a kennel since we have had him would now love to snooze his days away at someone’s back door, and could potentially be toilet trained to live indoors happily.
