About Shade:
Shade is a medium-sized, female Hunting – Pig Dog, aged 11 years old.
Description:Shade is an 11 year old Labrador X.
Shade is now being retired as a hunting dog – she has the most beautiful nature and deserves someone to spoil her for her last few years. Born and lived her whole life on a farm, so very accustomed to this lifestyle although would be equally happy in town (we have tested this out).
Good with kids, chickens, horses, cats, other dogs and stock proof. She will however still chase wild pigs.
Happy to chill around the house and in front of the fire in winter. Hasn’t ever been an inside dog, but I’m sure she would love that!
On the smaller side – around 20kgs.
Very good general health, never had any trouble and is still reasonably fit. I would say though she is most comfortable going for walks, rather than runs these days!
Needs her weight monitored as she can get fat easily (thanks to the lab in her).
Not been spayed.
Located in Hawkes Bay. Trail period preferred to make sure home is a fit for both parties.
