Wag is a medium-sized, male heading-dog, aged 10 years old.
Hiya, we’re looking for a home for our loyal 10 year old Heading Dog ‘Wag’. Wag is broken in with verbal commands and whistles. He’s partially blind and has a wee bit of arthritis as to be expected for his age. The only place suitable for him is a farm as he wouldn’t really be ideal as a pet as he isn’t very affectionate and is a true working dog and just wants to watch the sheep all day. Wag needs a new home, although there’s no place he’d rather be, he is taking up room on the bike which isn’t ideal with pups needing to replace him as he can’t hack the big station life anymore. Is Wag used to children? No.
Is Wag used to cats? No.
Is Wag toilet-trained? No.
Is Wag used to stock? Yes.
Is Wag used to chickens? No.
How well does Wag get on with other dogs? OK.
Wag lives in Marokopa, North Island.
A bit about Wag’s personality:
Reserved nature, quiet older dog. Enjoys playing and watching other dogs. Typical heading dog behaviour.
