Details of other animals:
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
We are interested in an old working dog to give a nice retirement to.
A few words about our property:
We live on a small one acre lifestyle block with six sheep,
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
I grew up on a farm and have had dogs all my life apart from the last few years. I now own my own small lifestyle block and would love to get a young pup but I don't feel that right now I can guarantee enough time to properly train a puppy as i would like to as i am also running a new business. My partner only works part time 3 days a week so we feel giving a old working dog a good retirement would be a better option. The dog would only be left alone 2 days a week for around 5-6 hours each day. We have cats, chickens and sheep and could keep a working dog busy or a nice sunny deck for older or arthritic dog to laze the days away on, there is even a stream to play and cool off on hot days. Fully fenced section apart from one 5m area that would be fenced off before any dog is adopted.
Also we would love the companionship
