Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Nicky Richardson. You can reach me on: 0272324994 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Dunedin in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog The dog is likely to be left alone for 4 hours per day.
EnvironmentI have 1 children 6 and above. There are no other animals here. At our property, we have 00 cats, 00 chooks, 00 rabbits and 00 sheep.
Details of other animals:
I may get some chooks and a cat in the near future.
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
I’m interested in a pup or young Huntaway or Huntaway X (handy dog) that isn’t cut out to be a working dog.
A few words about our property:
Our section is fully fenced, and although not a large amount of land all my dogs have been taken out every day, come rain, hail, or shine to interesting destinations.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
I love dogs and I love to be outside on the trails and tracks around Dunedin and Central Otago. My last dog was an adopted Huntaway X and I loved his nature, work ethic, trainability and love of roaming with me off leash and off the beaten track for a couple of hours at a time. Our dogs are with my boy (12) and I for life and sleep indoors as a member of our family. I have owned dogs my entire adult life and wish to find a best mate again.
