Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Greer Murrie. You can reach me on: 021517769 or email at email@example.com. I live in Palmerston North in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog The dog is likely to be left alone for 2 hours per day.
EnvironmentI have 2 children 6 and above. At our property, we have 1 cats, 00 chooks, 00 rabbits and 00 sheep.
Details of other animals:
2 horses 2 ponies
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
Any retiring older dog that needs a nice nonworking family home.
A few words about our property:
Flat 5 acres, fully sheep fenced, but large rural/hill outlook, visable neighbours with cattle & sheep. Job includes: accompany (me and) quad to feed horses once/twice a day, chase/annoy (or not) ducks/rabbits/pukekos in pdk, lie on decks in sun, bark at visitors, get pats from kids and hang around.
Hoping for a dog thats happy to be left free range (not chained/run) once settled – house section fully fenced & auto gated.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
Really miss our old dog, not ready for a pup yet, but would be good if this new dog could help if we do get a pup in the next few years.
