Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Mary Hamilton. You can reach me on: 0211693655 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Waimauku, Auckland in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 4 other dogs. The dog would not be left alone. The dog is likely to be left alone for 0 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. At our property, we have 2 cats, 5 chooks, 0 rabbits and 100 sheep.
Details of other animals:
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
Heading dog, voice command.
Roughly 8-10years old
A few words about our property:
60 acres, large flat areas with a hill.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
Needing a good heading dog that is nearing retirement but still has that urge to do some work. We walk and check the stock every day so won’t be short of gentle exercise. Just need that “heading” mentality for when the stock is mustered home for maintenance. Our 15 year old heading dog has officially retired and is just a stay at home boy now. 2 active 5 year old huntaways are the other workforce. MUST BE GOOD WITH CHICKENS. Above form won’t let me select a large number, but we run upwards of 70 free range hens.
