Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Murray Kemp. You can reach me on: 094237389 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Port Albert . Wellsford RD in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 1 other dogs. The dog would not be left alone. The dog is likely to be left alone for 0 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. At our property, we have 3 cats, 15 chooks, 0 rabbits and 25 sheep.
Details of other animals:
50 drystock weaners
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
An older semi retired huntaway or all rounder with farm experience.
A few words about our property:
40 hectares of easy country. Running a few sheep and young dry stock. Rural area. No close neighbours or traffic.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
Our dogs are part of our family. Have excellent insulated accommodation with covered pen and are well fed with good food every day. They also run free all day. This is a small dry stock unit. With a few sheep and young steers. Dogs duty would be the occasional movement of stock between paddocks. We have a keen young lovely natured Border Collie bitch which we are hoping an older dog may have some pointers for working together. This would be a retirement home for some lucky older dog. He or she will be well loved and cared for. Contact numbers for references available if required.
