Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Alan And Leah Goodhew. You can reach me on: 021943566 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Whangarei in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 1 other dogs. The dog would not be left alone. The dog is likely to be left alone for 0 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. There are no other animals here. At our property, we have 0 cats, 0 chooks, 0 rabbits and 0 sheep.
Details of other animals:
40acre lifestyle block with cattle and calves to shift. Horses. Wild ducks and bird life.
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
Non barking heading dog (not border collie) Black and White with black spots is what we would love but will consider other colours. Must be able to be trained in basic commands. Will be as much a family pet and mate as well as useful going round calves on a small block. Also may go out for rides with horses and push bikes. We dont want too higher energy and needs to be able to chill around home.
A few words about our property:
40acres. Bush, River, forestry next door. Is setup for horse training and teaching. Specialty problem horses but also kids and adult camps.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
We have farming backgrounds having both grown up on large farms and cattle and sheep breeding programs. Have always had animals and pets and our animals have the highest care and love while balanced with good active mental and physical daily lives. We both work from home.
