We are always on the look-out for folk to provide homes for our dogs. The people listed on this page have applied to adopt by completing our form on “Application to Home a Dog“. They have all agreed to share their details so please don’t abuse the privilege.
Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Nicola Te Raki. You can reach me on: 0279632356 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Greymouth in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 3 other dogs. The dog would not be left alone. The dog is likely to be left alone for 0 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. At our property, we have 2 cats, 8 chooks, 0 rabbits and 26 sheep.
Details of other animals:
3 kune kune, 1 miniature horse, 12 ducks
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
An older ex-working dog
A few words about our property:
Home on 18 hectare property
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
We love all our animals and our cats and dogs are rescue animals. Our sheep, chickens and ducks are not for eating – they are all pets. We would love to give another dog a forever home. Although our intention is not for the dog to have to work mich it would be awesome if there was a dog out there who may want to work a couple of hours a week helping out rounding up the sheep.
Our dogs sleep inside and although it would be nice if they were house trained I’m sure we could teach them to go outside if they are not.
