We are always on the look-out for folk to provide homes for our dogs. The people listed on this page have applied to adopt by completing our form on “Application to Home a Dog“. They have all agreed to share their details so please don’t abuse the privilege.
Adopter detailsHi, I’d like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Ann Rutherford. You can reach me on: 0272220100 or email at email@example.com. I live in Christchurch in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 3 other dogs. The dog is likely to be left alone for 2 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. At our property, we have 0 cats, 2 chooks, 0 rabbits and 0 sheep.
Details of other animals:
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
A few words about our property:
Fully fenced 1/2 acre section at the moment but moving to a 10 acre block in the next few months, which is also fully fenced.
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
We can provide a fantastic home for a dog who isn’t suited to the working lifestyle, but still loves being active. All dogs get walked twice daily down the river, up the hills or in the forest and have access to indoors 24/7. There are a couple of chickens on the property, but they are in a coup. He/she will be spoilt rotten. And will always have friends to play with so never alone. There is a hole in the family after losing an older Huntaway, so we are looking for a new pal to come along for car rides and all the adventures a dog could dream of.
