Adopter detailsHi, I'd like to adopt a retired working dog.
About meMy name is Sheryn Clothier. You can reach me on: 078831898 or email at zn.oc.snoitaercdetagurroc@s. I live in Tirau, New Zealand in our own property. I can walk/exercise a dog and I already have 1 other dogs. The dog would not be left alone. The dog is likely to be left alone for 0 hours per day.
EnvironmentThere are no children at the property. At our property, we have 1 cats, 6 chooks, 0 rabbits and 40 sheep.
Details of other animals:
Cattle - 40+ calves and 10 nurse cows
We are interested in adopting the following dogs:
Obedient huntaway trained to voice commands. Preferably in reasonably good health.
A few words about our property:
26h easy country in the Waikato - fenced in small paddocks and a Mercedes ML farm truck for winter luxury!
Here is why I think we can provide a good home:
Have had huntaways when working on the East Coast - and enjoyed them. Now have daily easy task of bringing in calves and cows for feeding (though they generally come on command anyway) but little terrier lonely since our old dog died and thought a retired farm dog could be company by the fire and handy if he will go out and bark on command.
