🐾𝐃𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠!!🤣😂🐾Gentle giant Des has decided not to listen out on the farm anymore, hes only bringing in half the mob! No, he does not have any hearing issues but at 10 years old it seems he has decided he just wants a loving retirement home after a fun life being a farm dog and that its now time for him to rest up in the sun and not have to chase stock.Des still has lots of energy and love left to give. He would be great on a lifestyle block or a home where he can still occasionally be used in the sheep yards as thats what he does best.𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 :https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/des-culverden/

Hey, I’m Chop! Word on the street is the awesome supporters of RWDNZ helped patch up my ticker 💖—and now it’s running on full zoomie power. I’m feeling amazing and ready to give my heart away… just as long as you’ve got snacks. When I first came into care, my heart was a little bit broken—literally. Thanks to some amazing humans who believed in me, looked after me, and helped me heal, I’m now ready to find my forever home. I’m about 10 months old, a happy, bouncy Huntaway boy who loves adventures, car rides, the beach, and making new friends. I’m great with most dogs, can live with confident cats, and I’m learning my manners every day.I’ve still got a mild heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit—I’ve got too much life to live and love to give! Now I just need my special someone to give me a home filled with cuddles, walks, and fun. Could that be you? Find out more about me here on the website and apply, Id love to meet you: https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/chop-dannevirke/

🐾𝐏𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥🐾Prue, at 12 years old, has lived her best life as a heading dog and she now deserves a peaceful retirement - although sometimes she thinks she is still 3 and wants to help on the farm.Prue is kind to those she knows and trusts however can be very wary around strangers . Her owners two girls have grown up with Prue and give her lots of cuddles and pats which she loves.𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/prue-culverden/

🐾𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐡🐾Ash is a lovely 4 year old heading dog. She is a very smart dog but can get distracted easily. She lives on a farm but is a fail. Her owner has tried to get her working but it seems its not for her as she gets too overexcited. However, in saying that, with an experienced handler, she could become a great cattle dog but not sheep.A very active home is needed for Ash, preferably rura/lifestyle, or somewhere she can be off with a secure fence.𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/ash-tuakau/

Perhaps youre looking for a companion or have the skills to help him into work? Either way, his owner says hes got great manners and loves a pat 😘For more about this lovely lad: https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/cooper-dargaville/

📌Tina has found a home💓Tiny Tina is not only stunning to look at, but this dear wee deaf girl also has starting hand signals and a keeness to learn more. 🐾𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞🐾George is a large, 1 year old brindle Huntaway. George was supposed to be a working dog but his owner doesnt think hes going to cut it, as hes not showing any sign apart from getting involved in a team effort in cattle. Hence, George is looking for a lifestyle family. Hes a fun loving character, very gentle and loves hanging with the kids for a pat.𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/george-blenheim/

Sadly he has arthritis in one of his front legs so he would suit a lifestyle block where he could get the sheep in occasionally. Or just as a porch dog.
