Feel good Friday!

We received an update from Link's owner and it was too good not to share! Link was a boy that came from a bit of a rough background, and he spent 168 days in one of our foster homes while he learnt that the world and the people in it were actually pretty neat. Gaining his trust and teaching him about kindness took a while, but it was so worth it!

From Link's owner:

"Five months ago, I took a chance and reached out to Retired Working Dogs about adopting Link. And I am so glad I did, as my world has changed for the better!

Link is the most affectionate dog I have ever met. Any chance to cuddle and get under your skin, he'll take it. He loves people: if he could, he would sell me for some pats.

We may be spoiling him rotten, but it is hard to say no when he gives you his little feet taps (particularly for his love of cheese).

He's full of energy (my football boots and couch may have fallen victim) but it's such a joy seeing him so comfortable with us and fit into our family perfectly. He's been doing so well and we can see his confidence grow every day. He's such a lovable goofball.

So a massive thank you to Sian and Retired Working Dogs for giving him such care and love, and showing him the world isn't so scary. I'm so grateful to have such a special boy."
