A bit about Safee’s personality:

Safee… My name is Safee meaning SAFE … I want to share my story with you.

I was a stray for a long time, I was scared and scarred from being attacked by other dogs, I was malnourished and hungry, coming to the school every day and sit nicely so children could give me their leftovers. I was exhausted and tired living rough. I was unwanted… I didn’t know what it is to be LOVED…
One afternoon a month ago nice people picked me up. They said they are from animal rescues and told me that I WILL BE SAFE and called me Safee. They took me to a nice place, they fed and watered me, they put me in my own kennel with plush bed and a sundeck. I thought it was a dream as I just kept sleepping for two days and nights after having my food delivered on a plate. Then these nice people told me that I am going on a trip to my foster home and my foster mum will pick me up. I didn’t understand any of that but happily went along, thinking “They can’t hurt me, right?” A kind lady met me and gave me a big hug and told me she will look after me till I find my forever home. This kind lady I now call MY FOSTER MUM!
I never knew what home was, I never had a bed to sleep in, I never had a family who loved me….

I am 5 years old Huntaway cross. I have a kind nature and love people. I am good with other dogs despite my past experience with them. My only disadvantage is I strongly dislike cats. Here is what my foster mum says about me:
“Safee is kind gentle boy who loves cuddles. He is great with kids and other dogs. Loves going for walks and travelling in the car. He is very obedient and easy to have around.”
I am also desexed, vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped and NZCAR registered.

I am Safee and I am looking for my forever home with my forever loving human.
