Paddington is the kindest, friendliest and lickiest dog you could ever wish to meet! He oozes enthusiasm and is desperate to be a Good Dog and given a job that he can complete at 150%.. He is an Amberley House progeny, who are known for being keen and clever. He takes his current rabbit control job very seriously and is already showing signs that he could be incredible at working sheep (with training) however not full time thanks to three additional vertebrae in his spine which means that he is on long-term pain killers, but he would be perfect for working stock on a smaller lifestyle block, an obedience dog or possibly even search and rescue (he brings us gifts all the time on command). For much more information and to contact Paddingtons owner click on the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/paddington-amberley/

Sweet Ginny is a 2 year old heading dog. Unfortunately Ginny is not interested in herding sheep, she sees them as playmates. She loves cuddles and has to have pats all the time. She is scared of cats but will let them sniff her. Friendly personality, will be shy at first with new people but if you give her a pat you have a new best friend. If you can give Ginny a forever home and some more confidence contact her owner below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/gin-ginny-invercargill/

Flo is a super affectionate 10 year old huntaway who is ready to find a retirement home where she can live out her days. She still has plenty of life in her, she loves adventures and being a part of whatever is going on, but now she is just not getting the time and attention she deserves. She would be best suited to a small farm or lifestyle block.Contact her owners below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/flo-hawera/

Delightful Leaf is a very happy-go-lucky dog and is very enjoyable to have around. However Leaf enjoys playing a lot more than working, sheep and cattle just arent his passion (his real love is playing with the hose 🤣😂) .He will happily work small mobs in small paddocks but not big mobs and paddocks. He would suit either a small lifestyle farm or a pet home. He has a good callback and wants to please however while he is very obedient, he only really listens to women.Calling ladies - heres your opprtunity, contact Leafs owner below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/leaf-pongaroa/

Bear is a 5 year old huntaway x beardie who is a lovely dog his owner has had from a pup. Great with kids and people and just wants a pat.A farm fail for sure!! - Terrible working dog as he is absolutely disinterested in ALL animals and would rather fluff around chasing butterflies or walking through the gateways, unaware that the other dogs are trying to bring stock through. He is really a gentle, dopey dummy. Good on commands. Never hurt a fly. His owner would love to keep him but he is such a wuss he hides in the kennel 24/7 from the new pups which isnt fair as he is missing out on life.Contact his owner below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/bear-waimauku/

Jip is a 6 year old heading dog who sadly, has had a working career ending injury and is completely blind in one eye, but now his other eye is failing a year on from his original injury. As he is not working full time Jip spends his days in a run while the others go to work which isn’t fair on him, he needs to find a new home where he will be loved and cared for.Jip will still follow the quad bike and work sheep going through gateways and navigate the world around him reasonably well as long as he’s not running or it’s too dark. A lifestyle block with a loving family would suit him well.Contact his owner via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/jip-feilding/

Hairy Maclary look-a-like requiring a new home.
