Meet Chase, a gentle and laid-back dog seeking a forever home. This charming companion is looking for a special family who will provide the patience and understanding he needs to thrive.

Initially, Chase may come across as a bit reserved, taking time to warm up to new people and surroundings. He’ll likely bark at strangers or when feeling uneasy, but it’s essential to note that he has never shown any aggression. With gentle guidance and reassurance, Chase will gradually open up, revealing his affectionate and loyal nature.

A rural home would be ideal for Chase, as he can be quite vocal, barking out of habit in his kennel or when exploring his surroundings. However, he’s quick to respond to commands and will quiet down when instructed.

While Chase hasn’t been formally stock-tested, he has been exposed to livestock in his previous home. As for other dogs, Chase gets along great with them, and the presence of a canine buddy may even help boost his confidence.

When it comes to children, Chase may not be the best fit for families with small kids, primarily due to their busy nature. However, once he’s settled into his new home and grown familiar with his family, he should be perfectly fine with older children.

Chase’s ideal forever home will offer:
☆ A calm and peaceful environment where he can feel secure
☆ Understanding owners who recognise his initial reserve and are willing to invest time and patience
☆ A stable routine, providing a sense of comfort and familiarity
☆ The option of a canine companion to provide friendship and reassurance

In return, Chase promises to become a devoted and loyal companion, showering his family with affection and loyalty. If you’re willing to provide the necessary time, patience, and love, Chase will thrive in your care.

Chase has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed and is getting desexed. He has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
