Lucy: Loving Companion & Potential Working Dog

Lucy is an affectionate, playful, and loving dog seeking an active pet home or experienced working dog owner. She thrives on attention, enjoys cuddles, and loves being an inside dog. Lucy is good with children and other dogs, but needs a playmate who can match her energetic playstyle.

She has some areas for improvement, including ongoing toilet training, especially overnight. A well-fenced section is essential due to her strong chase instinct. Lucy is kennel-trained and doesn’t make a mess.

Lucy shows natural herding ability, with interests in nipping and heeling cattle. With training, particularly a reliable stop, she may make a nice heading dog. However, her passion for chasing and herding requires an experienced owner.

The ideal home for Lucy would be with active pet owners who have experience or working dog owners willing to train and utilize her herding instincts. She’s not suitable for lifestyle blocks unless the owner is a confident dog trainer.

Lucy promises loyalty, companionship, and entertainment. If you’re ready for an energetic, loving companion, consider Lucy!

Lucy has been desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed and registered. She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
