Ruby is a medium-sized, female Huntaway, aged 8 years old.
Is Ruby used to children? Don’t knowIs Ruby used to cats? Yes.
Is Ruby toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Ruby used to stock? Yes.
Is Ruby used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Ruby get on with other dogs? Great. Ruby’s Time to Shine!
Now that her brother Pete has found his forever home, it’s Ruby’s turn to sparkle! This lovely lady is ready to capture your heart.
Ruby is a shy girl at first, but she warms up quickly and loves everyone she meets. She doesn’t jump up or get overly excited, and she only barks when others bark. Ruby is a gentle soul who gets along great with cats, chickens, sheep, and donkeys – she’s not fazed by other animals at all!
Her ideal home will have another dog for companionship, as she loves canine company. She’ll also need a secure yard, as she can jump fences if she wants to follow you! Ruby requires a crate or metal kennel and run for sleeping and alone time, and she’s happy to snooze the day away in her cozy space.
We’re not sure about Ruby’s experience with kids, but we’re confident she’ll be just fine. If you’re ready to provide a loving home for this sweet girl, we’d love to hear from you!
Ruby has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed and is desexed. She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
