Tux: Sweet bundle of happiness and energy!
Tux is a smart, loving, very playful and energetic, happy dog, seeking an active pet home with an experienced dog owner, and ideally other dog(s) to live with.
Tux thrives on being active, LOVES her walks and to play, enjoys cuddles, being an inside dog and just being with her people. She loves hanging with other dogs, though the best playmates are ones that can match her energetic playstyle.
Being a young dog, she still has some areas for improvement including recall in an exciting and distracted environment, learning not to jump up on new people and reactiveness when seeing another dog while on the lead.
A well-fenced section is essential due to her strong chase/play instinct and impressive vertical bouncing ability. She has never jumped a farm fence while with us, but it would not be difficult for her.
Tux would need to go to a home with active owners that have dog experience. She needs to be given the exercise and mental stimulation she thrives on, and ideally the home will already have a dog (or two!). She would be less suited to a property with chickens/stock, unless the owner is a confident and patient dog trainer.
In adopting Tux, you will get a sweet, loyal, fun, entertaining and cheeky friend. So if you’re ready for a very energetic, loving companion, please consider Tux – her fosterers highly recommend her (and will find it very hard to say goodbye to this sweet girl).
Tux has been desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and registered.
She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
