A bit about Narla’s personality:
Narla is an incredibly affectionate girl. She is a typical female collie cross with a big bark. We think she is either long hair collie beardie cross or long hair collie retriever cross. She has been an inside or outside dog. Loves walks, hanging out with humans and a few other dogs she is in foster with. Loves going to trips in the car and food. She isn’t suited to a home with female dogs. She has no issues with the males she has met. Narla isn’t a high maintenance girl. She’s not overly jumpy and takes treats gently. She has pretty good recall. Has transitioned into her new routine in her foster home well. Loves heading out in the side by side however does tend to bark when she sees stock. Has not been left off lead with stock as her natural instinct to chase does kick in. Will be desexed prior to rehoming and is getting registered and microchipped. Has been wormed and flead and will be up to date on her vaccinations. Narla will make an amazing companion to an experienced dog home. Ideally a home without small kids but dog savvy kids over 10 wouldn’t be an issue. Was previously in a home with an energetic 7 or 8 year old that would cruise around doing skids on his bike and she didn’t care at all. A really neat girl that I would keep if we didn’t have our own dogs. Currently in foster in the Balclutha area.
