Flit lives in Feilding, .

Flit was a full time working dog who dislocated her hip badly and it couldn’t be put back. Her owners wanted her to have a second chance so surrendered her to our vet clinic. She had an operation on her hip to create a false joint so she will be able to walk and run again.

While she won’t be able to work huge jobs or do any hill work, she would be great as a lifestyle block/small farm dog and has whistle commands. She has come out of her shell being around our dogs, and has also loved being an inside dog.
She will have a limp for a good while, however she has been great at managing her leg and doesn’t need restricted around dogs.

Very sweet, loves attention and nuzzles for more, fits in easily with other dogs, loves sniffing grass and is learning how to play.
As she becomes more comfortable she has developed a talking voice when excited, she gets scared walking over slippery ground but with encouragement will do it. She has a cute ear that flops over and is gentle.

Flit has been desexed. She is vaccinated, microchipped, has been flea and worm treated and is registered.

She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
