About Willow:

Willow is a medium-sized, female Handy dog, aged 3 years old.

Description:

Willow came into foster care with her current foster mum after she ended up in the Gore Pound. Extremely skinny, timid, and very confused, Willow is slowly opening up and showing her amazing personality. Willow is a 3-year, 6-month-old Huntaway/Collie X who enjoys running through the paddocks of her foster home, exploring, sniffing, and learning to interact with her foster siblings. She had previously had very little contact with other dogs. Shes great with males but does tend to act slightly dominant over female dogs.
Willow is going to need an experienced, patient home that will give her the space and time to learn to trust. She is currently a little jumpy due to nervous energy, but with the right person and plenty of love, she will be the most loyal, amazing companion. She is crate trained, has pretty good recall, is being desexed in the next two weeks, and is slowly gaining much-needed weight. She is not a big eater so may just be a leaner dog. Willow is currently located near Balclutha and is urgently seeking a new home where she will get more one on one than her foster mum is currently able to give. She will be registered, microchipped and up to date on her worming.
