Nero is a medium-sized, male, Border Collie X puppy, aged 6 months.

Nero is fostered in Whangarei but we will adopt him to anywhere in NZ.

How well does Nero get on with other dogs? Great.

Meet Nero โ€“ Your Future Buddy!

Nero is a lively young boy with a big heart and boundless energy! He loves playing with his ball, running around, and curiously watching the cows and horses. Chickens and ducks? Heโ€™d love to round them up if he could!
Nero is a social pup who wants to be everyoneโ€™s friend, though he takes a little time to warm up to new people and experiences. Once he feels safe, his cheeky and playful side shines through, who loves lying at your feet.

Training & Temperament
Commands: Knows sit, off, down, and come โ€“ still a work in progress!
Toilet Training: Doing great! He sits by the door when he needs to go out.
Crate Trained: Yes
Car Travel: Improving โ€“ heโ€™ll let you put him in the car now, but still not a fan.

Ideal Home
Nero would thrive in a home with another dog, as he gains confidence from canine companions. Heโ€™s best suited to an active household, ideally with space to explore and play. A patient and loving adopter who can continue his training and help him build trust will be the perfect match.

Nero is full of personality โ€“ curious, cheeky, and sweet in his own way.ย 

Nero has had his first vaccination, been microchipped, flea and worm treated.

He has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, weโ€™ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
