A bit about Kate And Jess’s personality:
Kate (wearing the collar) and Jess are mother and daughter. Kate is 4 and Jess is 2. Theyโve been together Jessโs whole life.
These girls were rehomed together when their farmer retired, to a dairy grazing farm. The hope was that they would work for their new owner.
Unfortunately, neither girl has shown much interest in helping-Jess is slightly keener but only when her Mum is not with her.
They are very good dogs, have nice manners and sit quietly on the bike while the other working dog does all the work.
They follow the bike and have been no trouble to have around.
Both are good with children and other dogs, although Kate is definitely the boss when other female dogs are around.
They love to play with each other and could do this all day.
Both dogs are up to date with their vaccinations and flea treatments but are not speyed.
Their current owner thinks they would make great pets for someone on a lifestyle block, or active companions in a family home.
It would be nice for them to find a home together, but if they must be separated, Kate would do best as the only female dog and both would like to have another dog as company.
RWD are helping vet homes on behalf, otherwise we will take them into foster and rehome them ourselves when we have the space.
