Description:

Beau is a LARGE black and white heading dog – would suit goat mustering/station/bull farms . Needs an experienced owner. Not suited to a lifestyle block or a lack of work.

Is Beau used to stock? Yes.

How well does Beau get on with other dogs? Not friendly.

A bit about Beau’s personality:

Beau is a bit of a difficult lad!

He’s come on in leaps and bounds with manners over the time I’ve had him. He no longer flies out of the kennel, will now “get in “ and walk next to you. Wait for his dinner and ignores the cat and kid “a bit better “. He’s a reactive lad and highly strung at home, which I’d say did him no favours out mustering.

He’s come to me after a couple of trials. I don’t have the work nor the dogs to risk him having a scrap with. He needs an experienced home with work where he can be his reactive self.
He comes with his commands, I can forward on. He’s been on cattle and sheep. I’d say with the hard work of some decent hills and someone willing to keep on top of his progress in manners, he will turn out to be a great guy!

I will be super picky where he goes and he can always come back. I have been fully transparent with Beau and  I have come to like the lad but unfortunately, with not having consistent work I can’t take him out to sort him out mustering.
