Elle is a beautiful natured huntaway who is sadly starting to slow down and can’t keep up with the rest of the farm dogs. Looking for the retirement she deserves after all the hard work she has done for me. She would still be handy to do little bits of work on easy country.

A bit about Elle’s personality:

Elle is a beautiful natured huntaway who sadly is starting to slow down and can’t keep up with the farm dogs on big musters or jump onto the back of the side by side. She has a very clever farm dog for the last 8 years and done so much work it will be nice to find her the retirement she deserves. She is easy going and well behaved. She would still be capable and love to do little bits of work on flat ground. Super natural with stock and will respond well to just saying her name and generally works out what to do. Also has whistle commands. She has an easy gentle bark and moves stock very calmly.

She loves pats and company, she is starting to show signs of arthiritis and also had a compressed spine so can find it hard to go to the toilet but is fine on laxatives. She gets on well with other dogs and our three young children. Will work for anyone and was often taken to work by my (retired) dad.
