About Dozer:

Dozer is a medium-sized, male Kelpie, aged 2 years old.

Description:

Dozer is a purebred Kelpie. He comes from great lines but unfortunately we haven’t put the time into getting him up to working speed on our cattle station. He has attached himself to our other Kelpie and is happier playing around with him. He has spent time around cattle and sheep and wants to work but doesn’t know what he’s doing. He likes to bark on cattle but has shown some eye as well. If someone had the time to spend on him, he may still make a great herding dog with a bit of patience. Otherwise he would love to live on a lifestyle block or with someone who can take him on lots of runs. He can “wallago” and “sit”.
We would prefer for him to go to a working home if someone can give him a second chance.

Is Dozer used to children? Yes.
Is Dozer used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Dozer toilet-trained? No.
Is Dozer used to stock? Yes.
Is Dozer used to chickens? No.
How well does Dozer get on with other dogs? Great.
Dozer lives in te Anau, .
A bit about Dozer’s personality:

Dozer is a typical kelpie. Very high-energy (Dozer is short for Bulldozer, because our other Kelpie is called Digger – Dozer does not mean dozey or slow!). He loves running fast, especially with other dogs. He is friendly and can be affectionate (when he wants to be), but generally (like most kelpies) doesn’t want to be held tightly. He is not bitey or aggressive. He would probably suit a family with older kids.
