About Xiao Hei:

Xiao Hei is a medium-sized, male Border Collie X, aged 3 years old.

Description:

We are moving to Germany and due to the circumstances there cannot take our dogs with us, so are looking for a new home for them.
We adopted Xiao Hei as a puppy  (9 weeks) from the shelter. He turned out to be a great dog, super intelligent with heaps of energy and drive to play. We live on a small lifestyle block outside of Wellington. The neighbour has plenty of lifestock and Xiao Hei is used to walking among them. He does bark at cows and sheep and with a bit of training would be a great helper around stock. He would love that. He ignores our chicken and gets on well with cats. He sleeps outside but also enjoys a cuddle on the couch in the evening.
It would be great if he could find a home where he can run around and spend his energy.

A bit about Xiao Hei’s personality:

Xiao Hei’s greatest joy is running around, playing fetch or tug of war. He is super friendly to humans and other dogs. He is very intelligent and keen to learn. He loves carrying a stick and will bring the stick or toy to you and demand that you play with him. He will even get our other dog to play with him if he has no luck with the humans. When he is not playing he is happy lie around quietly.
