Ziggy is a black and tan heading dog or X, medium sized. Being somewhat timid, but also wanting human compamnionship, she will thrive in a home with daytime company and a gentle approach. ARAN Rescue will arrange her desexing, vaccination, microchipping and registration for the coming year.

A bit about Ziggy’s personality:

Ziggy is a timid girl who failed as a working dog because she couldn’t cope with being shouted at. She has also been a family pet. She was surrendered to the pound along with her labrador friend, through no fault of theirs. In the pound Ziggy is timid and is scared of the male staff. ARAN Rescue are advertising her as suitable as a companion for a lady or an all girl household, although we believe she could learn to trust a quiet, gentle and patient man. From what we know of her background and what is on her surrender forms, Ziggy is good with kids, cats, poultry, other animals and dogs.
