About Blaze (Male) + Rua (Female):
Blaze (Male) 11 yr old retired Heading + Rua (female) 4 year old Huntaway
Description:Blaze and Rua
Would love to keep them together as they are the best of friends and have been together for the last 3 years; but also if it’s best for them and they have someone who will look after them then we might be happy with separate loving homes with space and time!
Both are outside dogs and we have a double kennel and run that my hubby made that can go with them.
We just want them to be in a loving home and with a family who has time for them.
Rua
4 year old fixed female
She’s done a little bit of farming but would honestly suit a family or lifestyle block .She is super friendly and loves everyone she’s great with kids too; she’s gentle and kind but she needs more than we can offer on our wee property. She’s up to date with vaccines and flea and worming. She just wants to be cuddled and played with and to be able to run.
Blaze – Heading Dog
11.5 years old retired heading dog. He is up to date with vaccines and flea and worming. He is on medication for his hip as he has worked on massive sheep and beef farms since a puppy. He is extremely clever but he also can be a grumpy old fella but also loves hugs. He is not used to children. He needs a bit of help getting in and out the back of the Ute but he just wants to be loved and to enjoy his retirement where he still has some space to move (maybe lying in the sun on the porch too). He is not fixed.
Both are super different (but the best of friends) and so may be that it’s 2 seperate homes but as much as we love them we were looking after them short term (it’s been 2 years) while our son had a break from farming but he won’t go back to this and they are restless and bored with us as we can’t cater for them. We love them to bits but this was only ever supposed to be a short term solution.
Any help would be greatly received.
