❤️ Donny has been adopted ❤️Gorgeous wee Donny is a very nice natured 5 month pup purebred heading dog. He has what his owner can only assume is some sort of neurological problem which affects his balance at times. Despite this he is still very well put together and still runs happily. He is great natured, loves people and is very gentle to handle.Donny is being rehomed as he is still full of life and could work very well for someone with little farm jobs. His owner just doesnt think he will handle the big days on the hills at his place. Feel free to ask further, contact is via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/donny-martinborough/

📌Bingo has found his perfect new home💓Meet Bingo. Bingo is a beautiful 2 & a half year old Heeler. She is full of energy and would suit a female owner with the time to guide her into more cattle work. She is great with kids as she was brought up from a puppy with my 3 children. Very loyal and sweet nature. Always happy. She wont make the cut on a big working farm but would prefer something small where she can chase cattle and enjoy spending the rest of the time roaming around.Want to know more contact her owner belowhttps://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/bingo-taumarunui/

Skye is a really cool old girl, 12 years old, she loves people and gets on well with all other dogs. She is still capable of some work but deserves a great retirement home now. She would be fine on a lifestyle block or small farm .However she does appear to have a bit of dementia ( or something ) as she sometimes sneaks away and goes AWOL for up to half hour or so although she always comes back. For this reason she really needs to be on a property with secure fencing. She is in good health otherwise with no issues.Got a loving retirement home for this lovely girl? Bea is a BEAutiful Heading dog cross, 1 year old. Unfortunately she throws more to the cross and not the heading dog so would suit a pet going forward. She has a lovely nature and loves people. She has not experienced being around small children but is great with everyone she has met.Bea is full of BEAns. She is active and loving, she lives outside in a kennel at night but loves to come inside for cuddles. Food driven so great for training. She has recall and sit (mostly!).If you are interested in giving Bea a loving forever home contact her owners via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/bea-athol/

Elderly Lady, 10 years old, is looking for a quiet retirement home! !Lady is a beautiful white Greyhound cross that was once a pig hunting dog. Now in her old age she loves sleeping most of the day, eating, and car rides and the occasional walk. She is a quiet old lady who is good with cats, chickens, stock, and other dogs, and is toilet trained. She doesnt love kids due to her love of peace and quiet. Her owners have 3 of them and they feel Lady would be much happier in a quieter home for her last year or so with someone who would love to give her treats and let her sleep inside on a comfy bed. She is the easiest dog you will ever meet.Contact her owners via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/lady-greytown/

Peg is a 9 year old Huntaway, semi-retired working dog looking for her retirement home, ideally a lifestyle block with a little bit of work as she still has plenty of up and go. She is trained on whistles. She does have mammary cancer but is still happy and not in pain, considering she had cancer removed 2 years ago (fixed at the same time) we have been advised it will keep coming back so looking for somewhere she can relax and live out her life. She can be left off the chain and never wanders, loves going for daily runs and sunbathing under the trees. To find our more about Peg, contact her owner via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/peg-lumsden/

🐾 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗺 – 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🐾*RWDNZ FOSTER DOG*Looking for a laid-back, loyal mate to share your days? Meet Sam, a 9-year-old retired Huntaway from Feilding who’s ready to find his forever home. This gentle soul isn’t here to lead the pack – he’s here to follow you around, soak up attention, and be your best friend. Sam loves older kids, gets along with other dogs, and is even okay with chickens (though he might “borrow” a fresh egg or two!).A little hard of hearing? Maybe – but Sam learns fast and responds well to whistles with a bit of practice. His only quirk is a slight leg issue, easily managed with supplements, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit.Sam is looking for a secure, quiet home where he can relax and bond with his human. If you’re ready for unconditional love, gentle companionship, and a dog who just wants to be near you, Sam could be your perfect match.𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸: https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/sam-feilding-rwdnz-foster-dog/

Beau is a LARGE 4 year old heading dog - would suit goat mustering/station/bull farms . Needs an experienced owner. Not suited to a lifestyle block or a lack of work.Beau is a bit of a difficult lad! He’s come on in leaps and bounds with manners over the time his owner has had him. He no longer flies out of the kennel, will now “get in “ and walk next to you. Wait for his dinner and ignores the cat and kid “a bit better “. He’s a reactive lad and highly strung at home, which did him no favours out mustering. He comes with his commands, hes been on cattle and sheep. With the hard work of some decent hills and someone willing to keep on top of his progress in manners, he will turn out to be a great guy!Find out more about Beau and contact his owner via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/beau-te-kuiti/

Tuke is a stunning Huntaway X pup, 8 months old.Her caring owner is desperately trying to find her a rural working home to suit her breed. She acquired her from family friends who tried keeping her in a residential property but she needs a much bigger space and a job to do hence obviously got too much for them. Tuke came from a hunting family but further information about her background is unavailable unfortunately. She is very energetic but also very friendly and enjoys people. She is ok with other dogs but can be leash aggressive and so is much better off lead. If you can give this beautiful girl the forever home she deserves and bring out her potential please contact her owner via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/tuke-lower-hutt/
