About BJ:

BJ is a medium-sized, male Huntaway, aged 6 years old.

Description:

BJ is a 6 year old Huntaway who has come into rescue care. He came from a rural district, and arrived with a lot of dings, a sore leg and skinny. The brief history we have been able to find out is that he has lived with children and cats, and has been an indoor/outdoor dog. in nature BJ is quite laid back, and friendly. His tail wags all the time, and he is a ‘leaner’ ie he leans into your leg and asks for pats.
ARAN Rescue have had him to the vets for checkup and vaccinations, we have treated him for worms and fleas, and he is already putting on weight.

He comes with a year of registration. He is booked for desex on 27 August. BJ has been living all his lfe with another dog, Rex, who is also in our care. They are best mates, and quite bonded, but being 2 entire boys occasionally have a bit of a squabble! We think BJ will live happily with other dogs, esp females.
